Dame Inga Beale is an experienced business leader having spent over 40 years in financial services.  From 2014 to 2018 her final executive role was as CEO of Lloyd’s of London, the global insurance market.  She now has a portfolio of non-executive director roles for Crawford (USA), NN Group (Netherlands), and WTW (Ireland), and she Chairs the board of directors of South Pole (Switzerland).  Before joining Lloyd’s, Inga was Group CEO of Canopius and prior to that she was a member of the Global Management Board of Zurich Insurance Group in Switzerland.  Earlier roles include Group CEO of Swiss reinsurer Converium, and leadership positions for GE Insurance Solutions in UK, USA, France and Germany.  She started her career as a reinsurance underwriter with Prudential in London and is a UK Chartered Insurer.  Inga was awarded her damehood in 2017 in recognition of her contribution to the UK economy.
