Sabrina Page is a social epidemiologist with a background in public health and violence prevention. Her research examines the mental health impact of violence on children and adolescents across the life course, and the role gender plays in shaping victimisation. She is particularly interested in how harmful gender norms affect boys and men as well as girls and women, both as those who experience violence and as agents of change. Sabrina is a PhD candidate at the University of Edinburgh, where her doctoral work investigates technology-facilitated child sexual exploitation and abuse using the Disrupting Harm multi-country dataset. Alongside her doctorate, she has served as a Research Consultant at UNICEF Innocenti for 3 years, supporting programmes of work on gender, technology and sexual violence across the life course. She is a Childlight Global Data Fellow and founded an early-career researcher network in the gender-based violence field. Her work has been published in journals including Trauma, Violence, and Abuse and Child Abuse and Neglect. She combines quantitative rigour with a clear policy focus, working to translate evidence into prevention and protection.
