Claire Stravato Emes's current focus is on platform governance, especially the Digital Services Act (DSA) and its crucial role in managing risks and upholding the integrity of the information ecosystem. Claire has developed proficiency in multiple methods and uses a systematic and detailed research approach, integrating social-computing-driven analysis with thorough qualitative research. She has also situated her research in many different contexts, notably studying anti-immigrant discourse online in the Global South. Claire obtained a PhD in Communication and an MSc in Political Economy from NTU Singapore and is currently affiliated with Sciences Po Paris.
