Dr. Luis Josué Lugo Sánchez is a Professor and Researcher at the Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Sciences and Humanities (CEIICH) of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), where he coordinates the Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence, Society and Interdiscipline (LIASI). His work explores the ethical, cultural, and social implications of Artificial Intelligence in education, research, and collective action.He is the author of Guía para el uso ético de la IA (2024) and academic works such as Innovación social académica en tiempos de capitalismo cognitivo: el caso de la Biblioteca de Prompts Colaborativos (Teknokultura, 2025) and Desafíos para la apropiación disruptiva en el uso de inteligencia artificial en contextos académicos (Tecnología y Sociedad, 2024). His research also includes the article Desigualdades en el acceso y uso de la inteligencia artificialen el marco de la nueva gestión pública en México (2024), focused on affective approaches in higher education.Dr. Lugo Sánchez participates in international research and teaching collaborations across Latin America, including Venezuela and Bolivia. His current projects promote critical AI literacy, algorithmic governance, and ethical reflection within interdisciplinary academic communities.
