Sophie Morosoli is a postdoctoral researcher at the Amsterdam School of Communication Research at the University of Amsterdam. She has a background in political communication research. Her PhD, earned at the University of Antwerp, focused on the individual-level dissemination of online misinformation. She is currently working as a researcher at the AI, Media and Democracy Lab, where she is exploring individuals‘ attitudes towards AI (in journalism) with a special focus on trust, risk perceptions, resistance and authenticity. Methodologically, Sophie is an expert on cross-national large-scale surveys, focus groups and other participatory methods. She enjoys working interdisciplinary and has collaborated closely with leading legal scholars on the topic of AI governance.
