Anna Sjöström Douagi is Vice President with responsibility for science and programs at the Nobel Center in Stockholm. In this role, she works to develop a public activity aimed at schoolchildren, decision makers, researchers and a wide public from all over the world, as well as with scientific meeting associated with the Nobel Prize. Sjöström Douagi is an entrepreneurial transformation leader. In 2013, she was a co-founder of the foundation “The Young Academy of Sweden”, which is a transdisciplinary, independent platform that provides younger researchers with a strong voice in the science policy debate and that promotes science and research to young adults and children. Between 2010 and 2013, Sjöström Douagi worked as Executive Director at the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. She has experience in international research collaborations and holds a PhD in the field of immunology at Karolinska Institutet.
