Lola Gimferrer serves as the Executive Director of the International Panel on the Information Environment (IPIE), where she directs the Secretariat team and manages all operational and financial aspects of the organization.

Before joining the IPIE, Lola was employed by CH Media—a distinguished private Swiss media conglomerate—for over ten years. During her tenure, she primarily focused on spearheading the development of new, and integrating existing, regional and national television stations and online news portals. Her career also includes significant positions in media agencies and Viacom International Media Networks, where she specialized in data analytics.

Lola earned her academic credentials in Economics and Market Research from the University of Zurich and the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. She is fluent in German, Spanish, English, and Catalan and she currently resides in Zurich, Switzerland.
