Raluca Buturoiu is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Communication and Public Relations, within the Department of Communication Studies (National University of Political Studies and Public Administration, Bucharest, Romania). Her main areas of academic interest include media effects analysis, online disinformation, political communication, and mass communication theories. Raluca is a Media Studies Lab member, affiliated with the Center for Research in Communication. Starting in December 2022, Raluca is a Researcher within the Bulgarian-Romanian Observatory of Digital Media (BROD), one of the most recent hubs affiliated with the European Digital Media Observatory.
